About
Hello and Welcome to the Creative Force Podcast! In this episode, I sat down with Rebecca Moore, faith-based life coach, speaker, registered nurse, and founder of Moore Freedom. Rebecca shares her personal testimony of losing her father at seventeen, carrying shame and condemnation for decades, and growing up with a distorted view of God, to discovering through daily time in the Word that she is deeply, unconditionally, and eternally loved. She walks us through her transformational morning routine, what it means to get revelation knowledge of God's love versus just head knowledge, and why knowing who God is, is the foundation of knowing who you are.
This episode is for the woman who knows in her head God loves her but has never truly felt it in her heart, is still carrying the weight of her past, and knows God is calling her to something but keeps talking herself out of starting.
My Takeaways
• There is a God-shaped place inside every person that only he can fill. Looking to people, relationships, or achievements to fill that place will always leave you empty.
• How you see God determines everything, how you treat others, how you treat yourself, and the decisions you make. If you see him as a tyrant or an absent father, that is how you will relate to him and to life.
• Head knowledge and heart knowledge are different. You can listen to sermons for years and never get your own revelation knowledge. Revelation knowledge comes from personally sitting with God and meditating on his Word.
• Seek him and you will find him. He shows up every morning when you show up. Even five or ten minutes of intentional time with God changes things over time.
• Rebecca's morning routine: five minutes of complete stillness, three things she is thankful for, meditating on one scripture until she receives revelation, writing a letter to God and having him write back, and speaking biblical affirmations she has recorded in her own voice.
• Meditation means to ponder, consider, imagine, and savor God's Word, allowing the Holy Spirit to bring the passage alive in your heart until it is more real to you than whatever problem or circumstance is happening in your life.
• The way we see our earthly father often shapes how we see our Heavenly Father. Forgiving your earthly father is not just about him, it is about freeing yourself to receive God's love fully.
• Self-forgiveness is one of the biggest game changers. Writing a letter to your younger self is a powerful part of that process.
• Transformation is spirit, soul, and body. It is always an inside job. Whether it is food, addiction, or emotional patterns, something deeper is always driving the behavior.
• Feeling unqualified, fearful of what people think, or not healed enough are all common reasons people delay starting what God called them to do. But the people of faith in Scripture were not perfectly whole before they moved forward.
• When the angels see Jesus and your born again spirit, they cannot tell the difference. That is who God says you are. Carrying shame and condemnation says his sacrifice was not enough.
• Start with five minutes a day. Go for a walk and talk to God. Tell him what is on your heart. He already knows. Just show up and be consistent. Consistency matters more than length.
Scripture
• "Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.'" - Genesis 1:26
• "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." - Psalm 103:12
• "Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." - Isaiah 53:4-5
• "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." - Matthew 7:7
