Hi, Welcome to the Creative Force podcast. This week I speak with Sarah Grace Johnson, the host of Let’s Talk on the Gospel Truth Network. In this episode, Sarah Grace shares her personal experience on overcoming fear and how important it is to conquer the attacks of fear that come in your life. Discover how to be who God called you to be and how to use fear against itself.
My Takeaways
Fear will be the death of your calling if you’re not serious about dealing with it.
Fear keeps you from saying yes and keeps you from being who God created you to be.
Fear keeps you from saying yes to Kingdom opportunities.
Keeps you from engaging in depths of relationships.
Be aware of what’s going on, on the inside of you.
Fear is an indicator and invitation to dive deeper with the Lord and walk things out with the Lord.
Count the cost of saying yes to fear.
You get to a place where you recognize what is happening and you can deal with the fear quickly.
What you are listening to the most will be the thing you give way to. Make sure you are listening to the right voice.
Change the narrative. Not “What if?” I do these things, but “What if?” I DON’T do these things.
Ask the Lord for confirmation.
Many times when we have lack of peace it is because we have given way to fear.
Fear is just a feeling, saying no to opportunities is really giving power to your feelings.
If you don’t trust that God is going to communicate you to in a way that makes sense to you than you have a lack of trust in His communication.
What is the next one thing I can be obedient to?
